After much deliberation, and careful evaluation of the amount of work I have on my plate at the moment, I've decided against a custom solution in favor of a CMS. This is the first time I've ever used ComicCMS, but it seems to work pretty well and be pretty easy to manipulate. I'm confident that I'll be able to get the site just how I want it in due time.
That being said, some of the features were lost in the transition. All of the functions that were previously on the sidebar (links to twitter, reddit, "get zombified" and "Zombie of the Day") are all now missing. However, these will all soon be reinstated in a better way. For now, if you are interested in the Zombie 360 challenge, or in having a custom zombified illustration of yourself done, check the "Zombie360" link at the top of the page. This leads to the blog, home of the Zombie 360 challenge.
After next week, my workload will be dramatically lighter and I'll be able to focus on getting all of the features, functionality, and style of the site just right! Keep checking back for more updates, or subscribe to the RSS feed using the link to the right!
